Filmtronics has a track record of quality and excellence. Our quality systems use Statistical Process Control (SPC) and advanced analytical technology, providing constant quality feedback to allow for continual improvement of production processes. We also have regularly updated and fully documented work instructions, standard operating procedures and analytical methods. Documents such as these ensure that proper quality and operational protocols are followed at all times. These systems and processes allow us to achieve ever-increasing product consistency, tighter specifications and faster production times, where practicable.

There is a continuous drive at Filmtronics towards a “Ship-to-Control” methodology. This method uses SPC models to generate control limits for production processes. We track and document these control limits, review for any parameters that fall out of set limits and take appropriate actions where applicable. Not only does this reduce risk and variation, it also allows for continual improvement of product and process performance.

Our commitment to quality can be seen in our ISO 9001 certification. Filmtronics has maintained this ISO 9000 series registration since the year 2000. The ISO 9001 standard is an international set of specifications for quality assurance management set up by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This means that an accredited agency has evaluated Filmtronics Inc. and has certified that our programs and procedures fulfill ISO 9001 requirements. A copy of our current ISO 9001:2015 Certification and the Filmtronics Quality Policy can be found here.
