Filmtronics Incorporated has unveiled new uses for its polymethylsilsesquioxane polymer FG65 which has proven to be ideal for low-temperature and high-temperature wafer bonding on a wide variety of substrates. FG65 can be used for temporary or long term bonding processes withstanding a variety of different chemical and environmental exposures. Best results with FG65 are achieved with the uses of wafer bonding equipment however; adequate bonding has been created with very simple processing steps. Processing temperatures range from 250°C thru 1000°C in controlled or uncontrolled atmospheres.
